Dear Engagers:

It’s indeed a delight to present to you our latest edition of Engage.

We value your engagement with our content and it drives us to consistently bring out issues, that we hope, equip and enable you to engage with your own faith and also share it with seekers and sceptics in your circles of influence.

This issue of Engage has a beautiful collection of articles by writers young and old, varied voices that flavourfully echo facets of truth that are indeed timely. Loving the Lord with our minds is a facet of Christian discipleship that we as an organization are uniquely positioned to address. One of the largest epidemics (not the Corona!) that is ravaging our culture today and which goes largely unaddressed is Psychological illness/wellness. The Church is strangely ill-informed, unprepared and ill-equipped to handle this menace, unleashed on the mind.

The lead article, “The ABC of De-stressing” is a Pastoral piece addressing just that, with practical antidotes against stress, anxiety and panic, towards redeeming our emotional and psychological wellness. The Q&A feature that most look forward to also addresses a pointed question on psychological health – “Is the Church misperceiving Psychological Illness?” We hope that these would stimulate and redeem our thinking and enable us to be better positioned to love the Lord with our minds.

Check out for a very creatively written piece “The Hollow” on meaning and purpose, which would resonate with the Millennials and Gen Z. For our Artspeak we explore an indigenous art narrative, Jamini Roy’s, Life of Christ theme that’s masterfully used by the author to challenge us working in creative spaces to effectively communicate Christ through the Indian palette! Another insightful piece that could provide much needed framework for loving the Lord with our minds, “Logic in the East and the West: Does It Differ?” is a must read.

Besides, as always, we have interesting and informative entries in our World Watch and resourceful recommendations in our Resource Watch.

We urge you to share articles or even excerpts of relevant portions with family, friends or colleagues, in whose life these could become seeds, which God might choose to bring to fruition in good time. Your comments and feedback are always welcome and encourage us to pursue excellence in our ministry.

Wishing you all the hope, joy and love of our resurrected Redeemer!
